He ran at Baboon. He liked out his legs. Baboon flew into the air. So did the sooty sticks from the fire. The sticks landed on Zebra. Baboon landed on his bottom.Today I read How zebras got their stripes. It is a bookin the Usborne First Reading series. This is a story about how zebra and baboon got stripes and red bottoms.
Long ago, many animals lived by a pond. Zebra and baboon lived there. Baboon wanted the pond all to himself. He roared when someone approached the pond. One day he lit a big fire by the pond. But the zebra wasn't soared. He kicked out the baboon and sooty sticks. After the zebra was landed the sticks so, he got stripes. The baboon got red bottoms because he landed on fire. This is a funny story. Possibly this is a real story I think. 152/2782
